Glee!

Glee is my Favorite TV show of all time. I would like to introduce you to Glee, because everyone knows that being totally submerged in a culture is the best way to learn the language.
Glee takes place in a public Highschool in Ohio. Glee is actually the name of the show choir club, originally consisting of 'losers'. Then the football players and cheerleaders join in. They still are considered 'losers'. These students sing songs and dance to express themselves, and learn more about themselves. Through watching this TV show, one can listen to English, see what a public school is like, and listen to famous songs in the United States

Let's just work a little bit harder

Nothing is too hard.
This is a lot easier than what you had last year.
This is your last chance.
Yes, I know you want to have fun.
However, this is not the right time.
What you need right now is hard work, not fun.
So get up, sit up, and grab that pen.
We just need to work a little bit harder.
I'm not asking for much.
Just a little bit.
We can do it.

Dialogue in a little room

I open my eyes, and I find myself in a little room.
The whole room is white, without a single speckle.
I'm seated on an equally white chair in front of a, again, white table.
There is nobody in the room.
There isn't even a window, or a door.
Panicking, I start screaming for help.
Is anyone there?
After a few minutes of panicking, I look across the table and I see someone staring at me.
She was seated on a white chair, just like me.
She had black hair.
She had black eyes.
Yellow skin.
She had a scar next to both her eyes.
She was me.
She opened her mouth.
"Who are you?"
Her voice sounded distant.
I asked back.
"Who are you?"
She refused to answer, and asked me another question.
"Are you Seiyon, or are you Stacy?"
I answered.
"I'm both."
Then she started laughing as if she heard the most ridiculous thing in her life.
Her laughter echoed throughout the room, and started piercing my ears.
"That's not possible. That's childish thinking," she said coldly.
As I tried to speak, she stopped me.
"What do you think you are? Don't you ever for a second think that you're special or anything close to that. Of course you can't be both Stacy and Seiyon. You can pretend all you want. You can fool others to think that you're totally stable, but I know you. You are so insecure and unstable that you can't even answer a simple question like that."
I argued back.
"What I am right now doesn't matter. What I want to be is what matters."
"So what do you want to be?" she asked with a cynical smile.
I couldn't answer.
"I asked, who do you want to be?" she asked again, but it was obvious that she wasn't expecting an answer.
I answered "I want to be someone who can help others."
She leaned towards me. I could feel her breathe against my skin.
"Bullshit" she said as she pulled away.
Then she got up from her seat, and started walking towards me.
She was wearing a black dress that covered her whole body, and was bleeding from her chest. Every step she took, the blood fell on the floor and left stains.
The stains distorted themselves to make letters.
The letters read "outcast" "foreigner" "different" "weird".
She said, "You and I are dead. The people around us kept shooting arrows, bullets, spears at us. See, we are at our funereal. These are the weapons they used. I know you hate those people. See, they killed you and they're not even here to mourn for you. Don't try to pretend that you like everyone. You know that you will never be loved back, and you know that you will never actually love anyone. As you can see, we're dead."
I looked down at myself. I was also bleeding from my chest, and I was also wearing black. Head to toe. "What do you want me to do?" I asked her.
She stroke my hair and said
"Pity, I don't know either. That's why we're where we are now."

I use English and Korean when I feel they are appropriate. Don't ask me if I'm comfortable.

Yes, I think in English, I dream in English. But I also dream and think in Korean.

-Where are you from?
I don't know. Please specify the word 'from.' The place I graduated Highschool, the place of birth, the place where I spent the most time, the place where I call most memorable are all different.
-Where/When did you learn English?
I don't know. You tell me. I was never separated from English, because my parents spoke English at home. So I don't know where or when I learned English.

Nice to meet you
